24-Hour Surface Initial Training Dec. 1, 2008 Dec. 15, 2008 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Pre-registration required 606-435-6079   MET Retraining Dec. 29, 2008 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pre-registration required 606-435-6079   40-Hour Underground Initial Training Dec. 1, 2008 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Pre-registration required 606-435-6079   16-Hour Underground Retraining Nov. 24 and 25, 2008 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.    Mine Foreman Exam Jan. 20, 2009 8 a.m. Drug test must be done one day prior to exam    Electrical & Hoisting Re-Test Dec. 22, 2008 8 a.m.   Electrical Retraining Dec. 9 and 11, 2008 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. This will be the last electrical class offered in 2008.  You will need the following:  social security number, federal miner id number (MIIN#), company you work for, number of employees at your mine site, a copy of your electrical card and a ball point pen.
