Kentucky Mine Safety Contest Pictures

In 2006, the Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing (OMSL) conducted mine safety contests across the state.  Photographs  taken during these important simulated exercises can be seen by clicking on the contest name.

East Kentucky Holmes Association Mine Rescue Contest held during East Kentucky Safety Days, Aug. 23-24, 2006, in Allen, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Mine Safety Contest held in conjunction with the Kentucky Mining Institute Conference in Sept. 7-8, 2006, in Lexington, Kentucky.
